There is a standard playbook in this trade: advertise an impossibly low cleaning price, get through the door, then tell the homeowner the chimney needs thousands of dollars of urgent repair. Sometimes with photographs of somebody else's chimney.
We would rather tell you what needs doing now, what can wait a season, and what does not need doing at all. Plenty of chimneys turn out to be fine, and that is a perfectly good outcome to report.
This site has a local area page for 40 Los Angeles County cities — Los Angeles and 39 others. That is a deliberate limit on scope. A company that claims to cover an entire state is either subcontracting the work or driving three hours and charging you for it. A page existing here is not the same as a promise that we work in that city, so ask us before assuming either way.

When not to call us
If you have never used the fireplace and it is a gas log set. Gas logs deposit almost nothing. If it has been sitting unused, an annual sweep is money you do not need to spend — a visual check every few years is enough.
If the problem is your roof, not your chimney. A good share of the leaks we get called for are roof failures near the chimney rather than chimney failures. We will tell you when it is a roofer you want, and we will not charge you to hear it.
If we cannot reach you. The directory lists the cities that have an area page here. If yours is not on it, send us the ZIP and we will tell you either way — we would rather say no than send someone across the county and bill you for the drive.

How we work
The standard the trade works to is NFPA 211, the National Fire Protection Association standard for chimneys, fireplaces, vents and solid fuel-burning appliances. It is where the three inspection levels come from. Those levels describe scope, not a menu — tell us what you are dealing with and we will tell you what we can cover rather than assuming a level for you.
Liner condition is not visible from the hearth or the roof, which is the reason we push back when someone tells you a chimney is unsafe without having looked inside it.
